The IB year 1 students are currently organizing this year’s Harmony Day.
Harmony Day is a day to celebrate Australian multiculturalism, based on the successful integration of migrants into our community. Held every year on 21 March, the day coincides with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Due to Covid-19 this years celebrations were disrupted and consequently postponed.
We are now happy to announce that we can celebrate Harmony Day on Friday 4th September, our event will begin at 1.00pm and finish at 3.00pm. Harmony Day is an interactive and educational event that encourages students to learn about unique cultures and languages of countries.
We also encourage students to dress in their culture’s traditional attire for the day.
* Kindly note, this is a school community event only.
