Harmony Day is a day to celebrate Australian multiculturalism, based on the successful integration of migrants into our community. Held every year on 21 March, the day coincides with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Due to COVID-19 this years celebrations had to be post poned, we are now happy to announce the following:
On Thursday, 26th November our Harmony Day celebrations will begin at 1.00pm and finish at 3.00pm. Harmony Day is an interactive and educational event that encourages students to learn about unique cultures and languages of countries.
We encourage students to dress in their culture’s traditional attire for the day, more information on this event will follow early on, in Term 4.
Please note, this is a school community event.
